Thermal inspection of solar panels
With a thermal camera we detect hotspots indicating defective cells, dirty panels, poor connections or degradation. Essential for maintenance planning and maximum yield of your installation.
When to scan thermally?
After installation (acceptance test), when yield drops, after storm damage or annually as preventive maintenance. For large installations we recommend at least one thermal round per year.
Visual inspection as complement
Besides thermal we capture visual imagery of dirt, cracks, loose cabling and mechanical damage — a complete picture for your maintenance team.

How much does a drone solar panel inspection cost?
From €249 incl. VAT (€206 excl. VAT) for installations up to 80 m² (approx. 30 panels), including thermal and visual capture. Larger roofs: €3.00 per extra m² incl. VAT. Industrial sites and solar parks: custom quote.
What weather is needed for a thermal scan?
Sufficient sunlight and dry weather. We schedule the flight in consultation for reliable thermal imagery.
Will I get a report for my installer?
Yes, optionally we deliver a detailed thermal report (PDF) with hotspot maps and concrete recommendations.
